When two worlds collide - a warm-hearted and highly entertaining novel about two people who couldn't be more different if they tried
They meet for the first time in a university lecture: Oscar is 16, highly gifted, comes from a wealthy background and has difficulties with social interactions. Moni Kosinsky has three grandchildren, several part-time jobs, loves bright lipstick and flashy clothes and is determined to fulfill her dream of studying math. At first, Oscar mistakes Moni for the cleaning lady but soon he realizes that Moni's intellect and perseverance are greater than the gaps in her knowledge. Oscar, on the other hand, struggles with everyday life and finds a supporter in the warm-hearted Moni who ends up turning his life around.
The two outsiders soon form a friendship that no one would have thought possible. Because mathematics doesn't care about one’s background, age or appearance.
