The Soprano

A bomb explodes at the after-show-party of the Bruno TV Awards. Three people die, over 250 are injured. The papers publish shocking photos and not only the celebrities at the event are stunned, but the entire nation. Is this the Islamist terrorist attack Germany has been warned about for so long?

Georg, who earns good money as a hairstylist in Washington D.C. and leads an extravagant lifestyle, has to fly back to Berlin for his uncle’s funeral. He finds Germany in a state of hysteria: the papers are full of pictures of the terrible incident and politicians and the police promise they’ll clear up the case soon.

Georg had been hoping to sort out a few things in his life and do his friend, soprano Sofia, a favour, but suddenly the shocking pictures of the attack take him back to a time in his life he had hoped to banish from his memory for good. And Sofia is also preoccupied with quite different matters…

With a fine feel for situations, Jörg Thadeusz describes a shockingly realistic scenario!

Wit, humour, suspense – Thadeusz!
