Young journalist Gianna Pitti is sent to meet an informant at the request of her father. At first, there doesn’t seem to be anyone there, but then Gianna spots something in the water: a woman’s body! A car drives off – could the driver be the murderer? Near the body, Gianna finds an empty CD-case labeled “Churchill’s secret.” Together with her father, her uncle and editor-in-chief Elvira Sondrini, Gianna sets out to uncover the mystery behind the dead woman and the empty CD case.
In the library of the family villa, they discover notes from Gianna’s great-grandfather, who spent a few days with the former British Prime Minister at the Baia delle Sirene. Meanwhile, shots are fired in Malcesine: an attempted kidnapping of a British historian researching Winston Churchill. Is this incident connected to the murder on the shore?
