Glitterschnitter

  • New part in Author's books about Berlin's music scene, written in typical "Berlin bluntness"

A group of friends form a Band in Berlin in the 80s. What ensues is a mad story about art, love and betrayal.

The situation is precarious: Charlie, Ferdi and Raimund want to go bring their band Glitterschnitter on the road to glory, but it takes more than a drill, a drum kit, and a synth as instruments to get to Wall City Noise.
Wiemer wants H. R. to paint a picture for Wall City Noise, but he’d rather build an Ikea show apartment. Frank and Chrissie want to turn the old drinkers’ lounge Café Einfall into a cake-fueled caffe-latte hell, but Erwin would rather set up a temporary hangout for pregnant women. Chrissie wants Kerstin to go back to Stuttgart already, but she still has to attach Chrissie’s new closet to the wall.

Regener brings back the recognizable collection of characters on their tumultous road to self-realization in a strange city at a strange time.
