Breton Longing (The Thirteenth Case for Inspector Dupin)

At the edge of Brittany, in the midst of the elemental forces of the Atlantic Ocean, lies the wildly beautiful, deep green island of Ouessant. There, Inspector Dupin is tasked with solving a mysterious death – on special assignment from the prefect, of all things.

Right before the most important festival of the year, a penniless Celtic musician washes up dead on shore. The police discover a clue in his house that is linked to an ancient dark rite. But the remote island’s close-knit community impede Dupin’s investigation – here, sirens, priestesses, and storytellers live beyond the norms.
