A loveable nerd in search of true love
Tom is a 29-year-old management consultant. To be more precise: He’s a numbers nerd. But a likeable one. In search of the perfect partner, he resorts to the algorithm-driven clutches of a dating website, which really does present him with the perfect woman: a 94-percent match – Lisa is the one. Unfortunately, only her eccentric mother shows up for their first date. He meets Lisa elsewhere – at his new job as the rescuer of a financially ailing industrial bakery, where Lisa is his competitor.
Tom is about to reconcile himself to his bad karma when his friend Joshi teaches him better: “Why should life give you gifts when you never do anything for others?” Tom decides to use Joshi’s formula for happiness by trying to make friends and strangers happy for 28 days. With each gift, Tom’s life goes further off course. Will he really manage to convince Lisa of the secret magic of percentages? Or is everything going to turn out completely differently?
